Next week in Year 6 – the final week!

The time has finally come for Year 6’s last week at Avenue – and it’s going to be a busy one!

Sports Assembly will take place on Wednesday and then the children will walk to Cheam Leisure Centre for their Fiver Challenge Treat Day.

Merit Assembly will be on Thursday, followed by the greatly anticipated Sleepover – which we know the children are very much looking forward to. If you have any questions about the kit list which was sent out this week, please do not hesitate to ask one of the teachers.

On the Friday it will be the children’s final day and we will say our goodbyes in a whole school assembly and then have the Teacher.vs.Pupil Netball and Football events.

We would like to say once again well done on a successful week (and year!) to the children.

We hope you have a restful weekend,

The Year 6 Team

A huge well done to Year 6 and update on Celebration Evening – Monday 17th July

The Year 6 Team would like to say a HUGE congratulations to all the Year 6 children for their efforts with this year’s production. Staff and audience members commented on how much they loved the show and we are incredibly proud of them all. Well done!

Celebration Evening

If you would like to hear the children sing some of the Beauty and the Beast songs for one final time then please join us in the Great Hall from 3.30pm – 3.45pm on Monday 17th July.

Please also come down to the Year 6 classrooms where you will be able to look at the children’s work and take part in some different activities – including some Science activities run by the Overton students who have been running the StemMinions club!

We look forward to seeing you there!
